There was no sound. Staff confirmed there was no sound. I heard it anyway and I responded appropriately.
They put me in here to calm down. Instead I found out that a room with no corners is just a bigger version of my head, and I have been redecorating ever since.

Full night of chaos, zero memory of it. I wake up rested and they wake up filling out forms.

Nobody told me it was there. I worked it out on my own and now I spend a portion of every morning introducing myself to it.
Every week someone new sits across from me and asks what set me off. There was no off. There was only this, the whole time, and a very long stretch where I was polite about it.
